Véronique Nobert and John Ho are tying the knot, and you're cordially invited!
The wedding will take place in Tai Hang, Hong Kong at Tipsy Bar & Restaurant (see the map below) on Saturday, March 31, 2018. The venue is on the first floor with a small outdoor balcony over looking Tung Lo Wan road. The restaurant features an open bar and dining area with interior matching the colonial era style of Little Tai Hang.
The neigbhourhood is in a trendy area where local shops and quirky cafés sit side by side. Right next to Victoria Park and with lots of culinary options, it's the prefect place to grab a Saturday morning brunch and enjoying the nice weather before hand (historically, temperatures average 20°C, at 77% humidity, and small chance of shower on March 31st in Hong Kong).
The ceremony is scheduled for 3:00pm, rain or shine. Free flow drinks, canapés, and desserts will be served through out. Guests are welcome to arrive anytime after 2:00pm. We will be indoor mostly (with air conditioning), enjoying good companies, having nice food and drinks, taking pictures, and grooving to nice beats. Feel free to wear something smart & casual or whatever you will be comfortable in.

Véronique Nobert, a Québécois, and John Ho, a British Columbian, met in an elevator of a 3-storey apartment in Vancouver. They started dating in January 2011, when life had some big surprises in store for them. What happened next will take them half way around the world!
In July 2011, Véro was recruited as a French teacher half-way around the world in Shanghai! John followed, not long after in February 2012, and moved to Hong Kong where he grew up as a kid. They made the most out of their short distance apart, meeting every month or so in a new destination in Asia.
In August 2013, Véro finally moved to Hong Kong and they’ve lived happily ever after!
They are united by a sense of adventure and a love for traveling. Together they’ve been to over 30 destinations around the world, and found that the place they felt most like home is in each other’s arms ♥
Aside from being an amazing teacher, Véro loves to hike the local mountains and take pictures. John practices Yoga, competes in Crossfit, and runs corporate wellness workshops.
Véro and John both love their life in Hong Kong and are so happy to have you join them on March 31, 2018 as they start the next chapter of their lives together.
Véro and John have been living together for awhile, and have acquired most essential household goods in that time, so they are reluctant to register for gifts.
They take delights in the simplest of pleasures and are always inspired by the minimalist lifestyle. Like most millennials, they too highly value experiences over possessions. So the time that we'll have together on 31 March 2018, will already be itself a valuable gift.

For guests who prefer to give a material gift, there are some included on the registry website — but please know that any heirloom, hand-made, or otherwise unique gifts will also be highly valued!
